I payed my doctor a little visit today and it took him about 7 seconds to conclude that I have SPD as I’d feared. Now that he has given me the diagnosis I have to follow certain rules and this time the SPD is causing me some trouble with my sciatic nerve so I really have to remind myself to be careful if I still want to be able to walk in a couple of weeks. At this point I’m already down to very small distances. We are managing though and as long as baby is happy and healthy then we can’t ask for more.

In other pregnancy craziness I can report that while I may not have rainbow boobs this time, I’ve developed a talent for smelling other people’s urine. If someone has been to the bathroom up to a half an hour before me I can still smell their urine clearly as if that person has never drunken a drop of water. It’s really bad when I’m on campus since the restrooms are used constantly so whenever I walk in the stench of urine hits me in the face like a WALL. As you can probably imagine it’s a little hard for me to avoid the restrooms these days since I have a human living ON my bladder.

FRIDAY is the day when we’re having our final ultrasound and we can’t wait!! Our mothers and my grandmother are coming along so it’s a big day for all of us. We’re guaranteed a conclusion on the baby’s sex but as I’ve mentioned before we know to expect a baby girl. Which has me fallen totally in love with the beautiful bedding above and the baby blankets below.
