Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult

2012 Wishes & Goals

  • I’m going to keep the happy cooking attitude and hope that it continues to pay off. -Maybe even open a cook book! Living on the edge!
  • Stay in shape (counting on the Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction staying away) and quickly go back to my ideal weight after the pregnancy. Everyone who’s read this blog for 2 seconds knows that I’m not a big fan of pregnancy (just the result) so I’m looking forward to getting my body back.
  • Prioritize personal time so my creativity doesn’t die and I end up going insane. More time for music, reading, photography, portfolios, blogging and personal projects. This means that I need to improve my time management skills (Sarai wrote a pretty cool post about this). I’m already a laundry ninja and a planning champion when it comes to parenting and family life but I need to get better at prioritizing personal time so I can reach my goals. Kev always says “go for it” and makes room in his/our schedule but I’m a big family person so I always end up spending what time I have with Kev and Willow Ava. I just need to realize that sometimes it’s actually better to go and do something for yourself. This will reflect back on my family when they get a more happy, healthy mom/me back. I have more energy and I’m actually more present in the moment when I’ve made time for Me and my work.
I need to stop postponing, prioritize better, take action and get things done!

On an end note I wish for a fantastic 2012 where we will welcome our second child into the world in May.

Yay, awesome! When is the due date? My birthday is May 26, so that’s the date I’ll be cheering for. :)
My sister-in-law always had a great body and even after her pregnancy, it went back into normal fairly quickly. She used some thingy to wrap around her stomach to help it get firm again and it actually worked.
