Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult

Birth, exams and to much time spent with staring at white hospital walls..

Sorry for the lack of updates. This is going to be short. I gave birth that same night (5/5) to beautiful baby Vega. Everything went great. I handled most of it myself at home and delivered just after vi arrived to the hospital. If there had been traffic we probably wouldn’t have made it! :) Kev suggested we stay a few hours to get some sleep before making the trip home and good thing we did. In the early morning it was discovered that Vega was sick and we ended up spending a week in the neonatal intensive care unit. In the middle of Kevin’s exam project of course. A week after discharge we had to return to the hospital to get Vega’s vitals checked but luckily we were able to return home after a few hours. Phew!
Since then I’ve had my first exam and it went very well. I have my last two next week (Kev as well) but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make them cause 3 days ago we had to bring Vega to the hospital again and right now I’m laying in a hospital bed next to her. Her condition is not critical but she isn’t well. We don’t know when we will be able to return home. Hopefully soon.

Thank you so much!! She’s wonderful.

I can’t wait till all of this is over so we can enjoy our family a little more. :)

Oh no, I hope she gets better quick!

And CONGRATULATIONS of course! How’s Willow taking all this?

Thank you! :) Willow loves Vega and can’t get enough of kissing and holding her so we’re very lucky. But the whole in and out of the hospital thing is starting to get to her. She’s too little to understand why Mom and “baby” suddenly aren’t there and she keeps asking for us..
