How everyone is able to help.

Even if you aren’t able to donate money to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti you can still make a difference.
Spread awareness.
If you have a blog you can join the Bloggers Unite for Haiti project. -You can put the icon on your blog. At Bloggers Unite for Haiti you can communicate and get inspiration from other bloggers about how to spread the word and give your readers the choice to make a donation to the organizations involved. Remember there’s nothing wrong with giving others the ability to provide aid even though you and your family aren’t able to. A lot of people are having a tough time financially. The main goal is to help the victims.
Auction anything or purchase something at the LJ community Help Haiti. You can offer a service instead of money here. This is the time and place to get creative. The possibilities are endless. This is also a great way to make a donation.
Someone already did the research for you. “…picking a legitimate and worthwhile charity can be mind boggling, especially when you see the list of the different organizations…” -Holly at MenstrualPoetry.com did the research and made a list of trustworthy charities you can assist. She also gives you a quick insight on their work in Haiti so the power to help in the right place is back in your hands.

My sister and I both donated money along with my parents. I hope people are moved enough to give something to these victims. <3
Excellent post and thank you for including a link to my post on the different charities who are seeking relief funds. I think it is really important to know who you’re giving to and where those funds with be used and I’m glad you feel the same way. Thanks again!

This is a fusion of my personal reflections, my artistic playground, my junkyard for dumping bad humor and a showcase for everything that inspires me in every aspect of life. The concept of my little space here is constantly evolving as I do not myself easily fit into nice little neat boxes. Still, I do like them; I am a neurotic mother of a beautiful little girl and a baby on the way so I have enough shit to worry about. Join me as I travel on life's miraculous path, leaving colorful footprints behind..

We have donated what we could as well in the hope of changing and maybe saving lives. I think you hit it right on the spot. So many of us are used to catastrophes served daily in the news along with our dinner. And it’s events like these where we have to wake up and be shocked and horrified. And actually acknowledge what is happening. And spread awareness and hope. Hopefully people haven’t forgot about the victims by the time the press coverage is over.. Like in so many other cases…
