Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is… NAP TIME!

Dear Santa,

Vega has been teething for the last two weeks. If you don’t have kids (I don’t know if elves count?) then let me just offer my translation services and inform you that this means that the baby is not happy and refuses everything. Especially things that include SLEEP and EATING. Which aren’t like basic needs or anything so I don’t really know what I’m complaining about..

Anyway! December is a month away. Which means that apart from making my wish list, I need to pull my ass together and remove the army of pumpkins and spiders that are currently occupying our house. Not real spiders of course (no need to worry), although that would be totally awesome now that I think of it. My own army of radioactive spiders.. On the other hand it would probably get exhausting to manage world domination when sleep deprived and in possession teething baby. I think I’ll just stick with the baby.
So my point, Santa, is that all I want for Christmas is nap time and if I can’t have that then I want the new retina 15-inch MacBook Pro. And you better include the Adobe Master Collection. You owe me!

Sincerely,
Nina Amelia.

More pregnancy babble; Overdue.

There’s been a lot of pregnancy and baby talk lately and here’s a little more! If you’re not interested I completely understand I just thought I’d give a little status update to those who are. :)

As you know I’m overdue and that’s okay. We’re not rushing her to come out but we are looking forward to it of course! My status is that I’m sick. Doctors suspect that my liver is taking a hit and that’s what causing my body to react like this (I wont bore you with all the details). We’re taking it one day at a time but I must admit that it’s getting a little stressful since I can’t hold anything in and well, baby still needs nutrition. -I would prefer the same sometime before I go through childbirth. :) There’s also the problem that I can’t really take care of Willow and Kevin is still working on his bachelor project which is due in like, 2 minutes. Luckily we have a great family that help us more than we could even ask for at this point.
So right now I’m living on the couch and sitting halfway up while I sleep so I don’t throw up. It’s pretty I tell you. I’m concerned but I still have my good mood and my sarcasm with me. And even though I can’t enjoy the fantastic weather and our blooming garden with Kev and Willow I can still hear their laughs and feel the warm breeze through our open door, knowing that I’ll be able to join them very, very soon.

Welcome spring and welcome Baby Girl -in just a heartbeat.

48 hours until i hit my due date.

I’m tired. Really tired. But I’m sure that no matter how much I slept my body would still be exhausted at this point. I’ve figured out why normal people go on maternity leave though. There’s actually a reason to why my midwife keeps banging me in the head telling me to chillax and get some rest before the big show. Who would have thought? :rainbow: But I’m THIS close so I’m continuing with my school work so I can prepare as much as possible for my exams in about a month. I’ve completed all the baby stuff that needed to be done so now I’m just keeping busy with a little list of things that I would like to get done but aren’t a necessity. As you can tell I don’t have much news. We’re just reading, writing and waiting..
